Inherited Memories is a part of my Graduation Project which was about narrating stories of Partition of India through textiles. As a part of my personal quest, this photobook is a compilation of Photographs which were conceptualized after hearing stories from migrants who experienced the Partition of 1947 themselves.
This photobook is designed in such a way that from the beginning to the end there is a story of migration along with excerpts from various interviews conducted in 2020 for the project.
A variation of Coptic Stitch binding is used to bind each photograph, one at a time, to create this book.
